The year 2020 has been complicated. Keep resilience, courage and positivity in the face of hardship have been the main challenges for all. This was evident to all the actors of the economy. The support of the entrepreneurial ecosystem by investment funds and investors was all the more remarkable. This proves that France is a country of seduction, challenges and envy! with 4.3 billion euros invested in 2020 compared to 4.6 in 2019, the 2020 investment levels have been somehow maintained. Thank you to the investors and to all those who believe in the French entrepreneurial forces !
2020 : Investments in Start-ups continued, the record of courage and resilience !
- With only a 5% drop in fundraising over 2020, the entrepreneurs most affected were young start-ups. The National Federation of Business Angels, France Angels tells us that the volume of “1st round of financing” was down by 28% in 2020.
- The real challenge for 2021 is more than ever to give the desire to undertake. To give entrepreneurs the means to achieve their goals. We are working in our own way, with our partners, to facilitate investment. Create and strengthen the link between the investor and the start-up.

- After the great victory of the INVESTORS family at the last Paris Event in 2020, the challenge is on the fairways in 2021. The first winning team Roland Debost and Fabien Zupanek will have many challengers this year. Which family will take this 3rd victory. You will find out on Friday 17th September at the START-UP GOLF CHALLENGE in Paris.
- Take up the challenge ! Defend INVESTORS or ENTREPRENEURS family during this golf competition with a friendly games rules (PATSOME) or a Golf initiation for beginners. Meet the personalities who make the entrepreneurial ecosystem, innovation leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs for an efficient networking.

You play as a team, you place yourself at the best position ball shot of your team. Build your 2-player team to represent your Company or Funds.
You are alone ? No problem, we will select your future team-mate in the same situation and playing in the same family.

MY PITCH DEFINITIONS
Golf Etiquette: Golf Pitch is a small divot that makes the ball on the green on a high curve. So fixing its pitch on the green is mandatory because it is part of the etiquette.
According golf club maker : The Pitch or pitching wedge has a loft at 48 °. His face is less open than the Sand Wedge (56 °), but nevertheless enough to be one of the golfer’s favorite clubs during an approach phase.
For Investor : The pitch is the best way for an investor to quickly grasp the key points of a business put forward by an Entrepreneur. It must be concise and sufficiently clear and effective to create the desire to know more.
From the START-UP GOLF CHALLENGE point of view : The Pitch must be « good ». It must be self-sufficient and not depend on an artifice (PowerPoint, presentation, video, …). It must inspire the entrepreneur who declares it and appeal the excitement of the listener. As you may know, “what is well conceived is stated clearly and the words come easily”, you will be able to say “MY PITCH IS GOOD”.
